Operation Christmas Child
Since demands on individual budgets are huge at Christmastime, this is a calendar of items to purchase, on a monthly basis, for your Christmas Child box. You only purchase for the number of boxes you wish to fill.
The church will have wrapped shoe boxes to hold your purchases. A small donation to cover shipping, and a Bible for the child/children, will also be needed. Gather your goodies throughout the year and we will collect them in October.
January: Toothbrush and toothpaste
February: Washcloth and bar of soap
March: Girl toys/items (dolls, jacks, small games, T-shirts, makeup,
Bible story books, solar calculators, stuffed animals,
stickers)
April: Boy toys/items (yo-yos, marbles, baseballs, ball caps, T-
shirts, Bible story books, solar calculators, flashlights and
batteries, cars, trucks)
May: Girl toys/items (socks, underwear, anything from March)
June: School supplies (pencils, pencil sharpeners, pens, writing
tablets, crayons, colored pencils, markers)
July: School supplies (anything from the June list)
August: Combs, hairbrushes, "hair stuff" for girls (barrettes, bows,
decorative ponytail holders, etc.)
September: Gum, hard candy
October: "Fill in" month (an announcement will be made on what else
is needed)
November: Box it up!!
